BG2V’s Employment Law Department practices employment and social security law, both in an advisory capacity and in litigation.
Our lawyers in the Employment Law Department assist their clients with the day-to-day management of individual work relationships, including: the drafting of employment agreements, compensation policies, cessation of employment agreements, the status of top executives.
They also advise their clients on all issues involved in collective work relationships, including: management of relationships with staff representative institutions, organization of work time, implementation and management of employee savings plans, negotiation and implementation of job protection plans, assistance with company restructuring and reorganizations.
The firm assists its clients with employee secondments and expatriations.
In close cooperation with the Corporate Department, BG2V’s Employment Law team also assists clients with all employment law aspects of M&A transactions (audits, management of the procedures for providing information to and consulting with staff representative institutions, etc.).
In litigation, BG2V assists and represents its clients before the various civil, labor and administrative courts.

BG2V (Hervé de Kervasdoué, partner) assisted NextStage, an independent management company, approved by the AMF, one of the pioneers and leaders in capital development in France, for the agreement for the acquisition by Eurazeo PME, alongside the management and Argos Wityu, of EFESO Consulting’s capital.
November 2018. The Action Plan for Business Growth and Transformation (the “PACTE”), a new law which is set to pass in France by early 2019, provides for the expansion of the 2014 decree related to foreign investments subject to prior authorization by the French Ministry of Economy and Finance.
November 2018. BG2V (Hervé de Kervasdoué and Jérôme Albertin, with Guillaume de Saint Sernin for employment issues) assisted Groupe M6 in the sale, by M6 Foot to La Dynamie SAS, formed for the transaction by the American private equity firm General American Capital Partners (GACP), of 99.99% of the capital of Football Club des Girondins de Bordeaux (the “Club”) for nearly 100 million euros.
September 2018. BG2V (Hervé de Kervasdoué, partner, and Arthur Anton, associate) assisted Groupe M6 in the acquisition of a majority stake in the capital of CTZAR, the exemplar agency in influence marketing, and of its international network SOCIADDICT, composed of more than 15,000 influencers.

BG2V advised Pléiade Investissement, a holding company of entrepreneurs, and Divalto, a publisher of management software suites for very small businesses, small and mid-sized businesses/intermediate-sized businesses, for their 4th LBO since having become partners in 2006, which also allows managers and key employees to take a capital stake.
